Density :
The ratio of Mass per unit volume of a material substance is called density. The density formula is d = M/V.
Where d is the density
M is Mass
V is volume
• The density unit is gram per cubic centimeter
( gm/cm^3). For example the density of water 1 gram per cubic centimeter and the earth's density is 5.51garm per cubic centimeter
• The density is also can expressed in kilogram per cubic meter ( kg/m^3). For example the density of Air 1.2 kg/m^3
• Now below see the following material's density
MATERIAL. DENSITY(kg/m^3)
1) Water. 1000
2) Bamboo. 300-400
3) Sandy soil. 1800
4) Clay soil. 1900
5) Brick. 1500-1800
6) Cement. 1440
7) Cement Mortar. 2080
8) Concrete ( P.C.C). 2400
9) Concrete (R.C.C). 2500
10) Stainless Steel. 7480-8000
11) Aluminum. 2739
12) Iron. 7850
13) Aggregate (10mm). 1600
14) Lime stone. 2740
15) Lime Mortar. 1600-1840
